Our July Show was full again. Our  catered banquet served about 80 people. The Big Dipper did a wonderful job on the food. Our ladies did just wonderful providing the desert and drinks. Not only was the food great but there was plenty.

The Live Auction had many really nice items that we sold to help with our Insurance and Utilities.

The Four Item Raffle was a success. The Tom Brown Memorial Knife by Rich Smithson with the Harold Enlow carved Block was won by Jim O’Harra. The Jim Curd Blue Bird was won by Steve Fowler, The Walnut and Maple Lamp by Bob Baber was won by Mildred Freeman. The Dan West Loon was won by Beth Buie. Thank you to all who donated the items and to all who bought tickets.

Dues are $10.00 + $1.00 per each family member. Always due in December.

Board Meeting

We will hold our Board meeting on September 2, 2014 to conduct business.

We’ll meet at 5:30. All are welcome at our meetings Board members bring your notebooks.

A Note from the Chairman


Thank you for all your help with the 26th Annual Show. Those who came to work and those of you who came to set up and display your items.

Thanks to all who attended the Banquet and stayed and helped make the Live Auction a success.

A Big Thank You to the Converse Junction Trail Finance Committee for providing some great food and for your tireless work on the Trail.

Breakfast Bake
Fantastic for ANY meal!!

1 Can Flaky Grands Biscuits
1 Bag shredded cheddar 8 oz.
1 Half cup milk
1 cup Cooked Cubed ham or ground cooked sausage
5 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste

Add all ingredients and mix saving biscuits for last.
Cut biscuits into fours and carefully mix in.
Transfer to roomy casserole dish that has been oiled.

Cook 25 minutes at 350. Serve for breakfast or dinner with small salad.
